    Hmmm. It seems this message was written especially for me.
    I am not one that is comfortable with establishing relationships. I have a few “velcro’ed” friends — people I have been in contact with for more than 30-years. But do I “do life” with them?
    Nope.
    They are 2-thousand miles away.
    I’m not sure why I don’t “do” relationship. I enjoy peoples’ company — I just don’t want to get hurt. I’ve had too many so-called friends exact wounds that have yet to heal. If you don’t let people in close, they can’t hurt you.
    I’m working on relationships via baby steps.
    I stick around church a little bit longer now than I did in the beginning. I’ve gone to a couple church “events.” But — I’m still not ready for the velcro.
