Cheryl would love to let know about what we do for homework clubs. We have severa different clubs in our neighborhood. We do clubs at apartment complex where we go in once a week usually to their office or meeting room and help kids with homework. We also do one at the church where we do games/crafts/meal then help with home work. We also do Bible clubs. The main thing is when we do homework clubs we don't do Bible. Since the teachers are our main supporters and promoters we want to honor them by doing what we say we will do. And don't mix the two. we can continue our dialog via email if you want. joseph@southeverett.org

Hello:

I read Joseph's comment on Muchael Hyatt's blog where he mentioned the Wednesday night Homework Club at church. We're trying to do some new things at our church on Wednesday nights. Can you or someone there give me the scoop on how you do this, etc.? Thanks.

I posted your review on my review page. I think your points are valid and Sayers viewpoints on Media Culture is outstanding. But I feel that he starts to go works righteousness on us past page 100. Thank you for being a voice in the wilderness.

this message was great! I'm sad I wasn't there to see the pictures that you had, but it is good to be reminded that God chose ordinary people, not people who already knew what they were doing.

thanks Greg for your thoughts. That is why continue to pray to the Lord for more water. More doesn't always mean better however. As we focus in on one spot and truely care for them I see that as doing much more then we have in the past.

When I hear the analogy about the gallon of water, I am reminded of the 5 loaves and 2 fish. Although the disciples "knew" they could not feed 5000, Jesus fed them anyway. If God has told us to "feed the people of Casino Road", why should we limit who gets fed? If we are still under those orders, then it I say "go big or go home!" God has no limits, so why should we impose some on him?

You can get one ticket deferred every 5 years if you choose to contest it... go to court and ask the Judge for to defer the ticket. If you get another one within a year you will have to pay both.
